- Community Time is held every other Friday morning at 8.45am in the Language Development Centre. A range of certificates are presented including our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) awards, reading awards and attendance awards.
Families are welcome to attend all assemblies.
Contributions (Fees)
At South East Language Development Centre we run a specialised program, however fees are just the same as all other public schools.
The fees have been set at $15.00 per term per student. This is a total of $60 per year.
Money collected supports student resources during the year.
Contributions may be paid with your book list, or by cash, direct debit or funds transfer into the school bank account.
- Account Name: South East Language Development Centre
- BSB: 066153
- Account No: 00902029
If paying by Electronic Funds Transfer, please use student’s surname and ‘2025 fees’ as the reference.
There are several options available to help parents and carers with payments. Please contact us on 9473 9600 for further help.
Apply for the Bus
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) provides free bus transportation or conveyance allowance for children attending our school. The children are picked up from home in the morning and dropped off at home in the afternoon. The children are supervised on the bus journey by a Bus Aide.
The PTA tries to find a place for your child on the bus, but this can’t always be guaranteed. The best way to get a child on a bus is for parents to apply as soon as they accept a place at the LDC.
An application for bus transport must be made online.
To apply, click the link below:
www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au
Email: schoolbus@pta.wa.gov.au
Phone: 08 9326 2625
The school can assist parents with this application if needed.
Out of School Care
SELDC does not provide on-site Out of School Care but a few local providers drop off and pick up students.
