Families are invited to join our upcoming session, Building Strong Storytellers, where we will explore how children learn storytelling (narrative) skills at school and simple ways to support these skills at home. The session will happen right after a student music performance at community time (Cloverdale campus). Some of our Year 2 students will be helping with our small morning tea before the session. They will get the chance to talk to other adults and practice asking questions to build their communication confidence. You will also get to see some examples of the fantastic narrative (storytelling) work that our students have done.
